Chuck decided to move back to Utah in the summer of 2022. Since returning, Chuck has been wildly inspired by the people and the nature of this magnificent place in the world. Chuck has painted for municipalities, corporations, public art programs, and mural festivals as an artist since 2012. With that being said, the true reward of doing public art reveals itself when the artist connects with the community. Chuck has found a great deal of inspiration since he returned to Utah last year. He has also done a great deal of community work with at-risk youth, as well as students in several cities across the US. He has seen first-hand, the positive effect that public art has on communities, and especially among the young people in those communities. Chuck strongly believes that public art is a powerful transformative force that can elevate the practitioners, as well as the people and their communities. It creates an individuality in the environment that cannot be reproduced, and it makes the place in which it inhabits special for as long as it exists.
