2026 Get to the River Festival

Join Midvale City for a special Jordan River Trail Cleanup as part of the Get to the River Festival, presented by the Jordan River Commission and Jordan River Foundation.
Every September, the month-long festival brings people together along the 50-mile Jordan River Parkway to celebrate the river through outdoor recreation, art, culture, and conservation.
Join us on September 12 as volunteers team up to help keep the Jordan River beautiful! We’ll spend the morning picking up litter along our stretch of the river, enjoying the outdoors, and giving back to our community. Every helping hand makes a difference!
Why It Matters
Trash and debris from roadway curbs and gutters can make its way into the Jordan River, where it can be difficult to remove. By volunteering, you can help prevent garbage and invasive plants from reaching the river and protect this important natural resource.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Overflow parking: TRAX Station west of the trailhead.
