Food Truck Vendors

The Harvest Days Festival Committee is working with the Utah Food Truck League to provide food trucks. Therefore, we are not accepting applications for Food Truck Vendors.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2022 Harvest Days Festival on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Midvale City Park. We appreciate your talents and unique gifts in the booth segment of our festival and appreciate that you would like to share your talents with the community. Applications are subject to approval. Without an approved application, you will not be permitted to occupy a space or sell any items at the Festival. The Harvest Days Festival Committee will review applications on a regular basis. So, you should receive a response within 10 days of completing the online application.

  • The booth spaces will be 10’x10’ and we continue to provide booth space at no charge.
  • We only provide the booth space, vendors must bring everything they need to set up their booth (tables, tents, and chairs.)
  • On a limited basis, with advanced notice, we are still offering two booth spaces for vendors who need extra space.
  • Power is available on a limited basis.
  • One week before the Festival, we will send you a packet of information with your exact booth location and detailed directions.

Harvest Days Festival

Set-up and Tear Down

  • Booth vendor set-up time is between noon at 1:30 p.m.
  • Vendors must operate from their assigned space between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
    • If requested in advance, vendors may operate until 9:30 p.m.
  • Vendors must not tear down until 7:00 p.m.

    • The Harvest Days Festival Committee retains the right to select vendors and booth locations for the Harvest Days Festival at their sole discretion. We are very limited on space so we will be looking for diverse vendors and will be limiting vendors based on having duplicate goods for sale. Booth applications will be approved based on products, services, available space, receipt of the application, and the applicant’s fit with the Harvest Days Festival.
    • The Harvest Days Festival Committee will review applications on a regular basis. So, you should receive a response within 10 days of completing the online application.

  • Neighborhood Block Parties, always a favorite of Midvale Harvest Days, are a fun way to meet neighbors, build friendships, and develop a sense of belonging and security among residents. 

    Complete the online Neighborhood Block Party form to schedule your block party and arrange a visit from the Mayor, City Council members, the Unified Fire Authority, Unified Police Department, and local elected officials.

    We are hosting two dates, August 1 and 2, so please be sure to schedule your neighborhood block party on one of these dates.

  • Thank you for your interest in participating in the Midvale Harvest Days Parade. Please complete the following application no later than July 5, 2022. After your application has been received, reviewed, and approved, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don't receive a confirmation email within two weeks, please contact us at HDParade@midvale.com. The final lineup information will be sent one week before the parade.

    Reminders

    1. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, sign the waiver, and pay the $10 fee (cash, credit or checks)
    2. While checking in, it is mandatory to read and sign a waiver prior to participation. A parent or guardian must sign the waiver for minors. Contact Lmagness@midvale.com if you need a copy of the waiver to be emailed to you ahead of time.
    3. Wear a thick shirt that covers your back and shoulders.
    4. Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate.
    5. The goats are animals and do poop and pee. We do our best to clean up after them but realize it won’t hurt you. You do it too.
    6. They like to nibble on the mats, clothing, shoes, and other items. Just push them away until they leave your stuff alone.

  • Midvale City is thrilled to announce the first annual Mayor's Cup H-O-R-S-E Basketball Tournament! The single-elimination shooting rounds will start at 3:00 p.m.  With the final round starting at 5:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top two players for each age/skill group. Pre-registration is required, there is no fee to register. Register today!

  • Midvale City's annual Harvest Days celebration brings thousands of people to Midvale each August to celebrate our community. The Harvest Days Festival continues to grow every year, and we couldn't put it all together without great staff and community volunteers! 

    How do I apply to be a volunteer at the Harvest Days Festival?

    We’d love to receive a volunteer application from you! To join our volunteer team, please complete this short volunteer applicaiton. 

    How old do I have to be to volunteer?

    All volunteers must be 16 years or older.

    Why should I volunteer?

    Utah has the highest annual volunteer service hours in the country, and this amazing event would not happen without your support! By donating your time, you’re helping to support Midvale's local youth, artisans, businesses, entertainers, and food trucks and connect them with our community. 

    What does a volunteer actually do?

    We have a variety of positions available to fit everyone’s interests, personality, and skills. In all positions you will be dealing with the public, so friendliness and safety are the top requirements.  

    Currently, we are looking for the following volunteers:

    •  BINGO Runners - You will listen for that five-letter word, BINGO! As soon as you hear someone in your section yell BINGO, you will blow your whistle to let the BINGO caller know that someone has won. You will verify their numbers and walk them to the prize table so they can pick their prize. 
    • Carnival Row Crew - You will help kids aged 3 to 18 play carnival games and will hand out prizes when they win. We will provide you with all the details you need to know to run these fun games.

    What perks do volunteers receive?

    Volunteers receive fun and exciting benefits based on the number of shifts they work. Benefits include free soft drinks, snacks, meals, and a Baby Goat Yoga t-shirt.

    We are grateful for this great community and hope you will consider assisting us in making this year's Harvest Days Festival the best yet.
