Small town feel, big holiday spirit! Home for the Holidays celebrates the warmth and magic of the holiday season. A time to support local businesses, bring the community together, and celebrate Midvale’s diverse holiday traditions. Here are just some of the ways you can participate:
Light Up Midvale – On December 4, we began to collectively "Light Up Midvale" for the holiday season! Join in as soon as you can. Once your lights are on, bundle up and get outside to enjoy the colors and connect with your neighbors. Post your photos below to share locally wih other Midvalians.
Light Up Salt Lake County “Holiday Lights Tour” - Cities around Salt Lake County are teaming up to bring you a Holiday Lights Tour like never before! Visit homes from Bluffdale, Midvale, Millcreek, South Salt Lake, South Jordan, and West Jordan to view festive light displays. Registration begam on Tuesday, November 23 and will remain open until December 21. Register and submit pictures of your Holiday house early for a better chance to win the People's Choice Award!
Light Up Their Faces Toy Drive – Bring holiday magic to our neighbors at The Road Home by supporting the Toy Drive. New, unwrapped gifts will be collected at Midvale City Hall from December 6 through 17 (closed Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). Donations can be dropped off at the designated “toy boxes”. We are accepting gifts for children of all ages (newborn through 18). Items that are sure to light up their faces include toys and age-appropriate items such as crafts sets, coats and winter accessories, movie tickets,
Tis the Season to Shop Local – When you shop for a present this holiday season, you might think of what it might mean to the recipient who will be opening it. This year, though, your gift means just as much to the person you are buying it from. Now is the time for us to step up and support our local businesses. These local businesses aren’t just “moms and pops.” They’re all about family—brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, cousins, neighbors, friends—all the people who make Midvale a wonderful place to live.
