Main Street Lighting Project Street Closure

Starting January 13, Midvale Main Street will be temporarily closed between Center Street and 1st Avenue to install new streetlights and festival string lights! This is part of the Midvale Main Street Plan to create a vibrant, welcoming community space.
  • Estimated closure: 3-4 weeks
  • Businesses remain open!
  • Parking is available in the lot on the east side of Main Street, with limited spaces in the west-side lot.

The revitalization of Main Street includes several significant improvements:

  • Streetscape Upgrades: Enhanced sidewalks, street lighting, and landscaping to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment.
  • Public Art Installations: Beautiful murals and sculptures by local artists that add vibrancy and cultural value.
  • Facade Improvement Grants: Financial incentives for business owners to enhance the exterior appearance of their buildings, contributing to a cohesive and attractive streetscape.
