Uplift Midvale: Logo Design Contest

Calling All Creative Middle and High School Students!

Midvale City is excited to announce a logo design contest for the Uplift Midvale program! Whether you're an experienced artist or just love to create, this is your chance to design a logo that represents the spirit of Uplift Midvale and win a $500 Grand Prize.

Who Can Participate?
The contest is open to all middle AND high school students, regardless of experience or skill level.

• Must be a Midvale resident or attend Midvale Middle, Hillcrest High School or Jordan High School.
• Homeschool students must reside in Midvale.
• You do not have to attend a workshop to submit a logo design.

Contest Timeline

• Deadline to apply to participate in the Spy Hop Workshops: March 11, 2025
• Spy Hop Workshops (optional): March 13, 20, and 27, 2025
• Final Logo Submission Deadline: April 14, 2025
• Winner Announcement: April 22, 2025

Logo Design Submission Deadline
Please note that all logo designs must be submitted by April 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Any submissions received after this deadline will not be considered. Make sure to get your design in on time for a chance to be part of the Uplift Midvale Logo Competition.

Grand Prize
The winning logo will become the official logo for Uplift Midvale, and the designer will receive a $500 Grand Prize! The logo will be unveiled during a special ceremony at a City Council meeting.

Free Spy Hop Logo Design Workshops (Optional) - All workshop participants will receive a $20 gift card!
Want to level up your design skills? We're partnering with Spy Hop to offer a three-day workshop where you'll get hands-on experience using Procreate—a powerful digital illustration app for iPads. Learn from an expert and discover how to create stunning designs with professional tools in a fun, interactive setting!

Workshop Details:

• Location: Tyler Library
• Dates: March 13, March 20, March 27, 2025
• Times: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Cost: Free
• Limited Space: First-come, first-served basis. Must register in advance to partiicpate.

How to Apply for the Workshops:
Submit your application by March 11, 2025. space is limited and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Attending a workshop is optional and not required to participate in the contest.
