The Midvale City Youth Council gives high school students a chance to get involved, make a difference, and have their voices heard in our community.

Qualifications

  • No experience is required.
  • High School student as of Fall 2025
  • Midvale resident and/or attend Hillcrest High School or Jordan High School
  • Homeschool high school students must live in Midvale.

Time Commitment

Youth Council members meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Midvale City Hall (7505 S Holden Street, Midvale), from October through April. Members discuss current events, learn about local government, participate in focus groups, and more.
