Meet the Muralists - Sophy Tuttle

Sophy Tuttle, @sophytuttle, is an English-born American muralist, painter, and installation artist whose work celebrates nature and our deep connection to it. She began painting murals in 2013 in Oaxaca, Mexico by working with local artists and activists. Today, her work is celebrated nationally and internationally, including in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and England.

Sophy holds a BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design (2008) and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from the University of Hartford (2019). She is the recipient of three National Mural Awards (2023, 2025, & 2026) and she currently works out of her studio in Abington, MA.
