Born in Chile and raised in Miami, CP fell in love with graffiti art as a young teen. By age 16, he began to work with spray paint, straying from the traditional, bright designs, repetitive structure, and constraints as a form of word art. After studying fine art and graphic design in college, he continued to utilize spray paint as his preferred medium. CP’s artwork incorporates traditional and contemporary influences to create a style that is a blend of graphic art and street art, neoclassical and abstract. The subject matter is a mix of ancient sculpture, early photography, graffiti and digital design. The permanence of classical stone sculpture is juxtaposed with graphic stylings in the ephemeral, street art setting and transient medium. Once named the city’s most progressive street artist by Miami New Times, CP has completed over 100 murals locally, while international projects include murals in Japan, England, France, Mexico, Jamaica and Bermuda. Clients include Heineken, Google, Walmart, SLS Hotels, Coca-Cola, The Fillmore at Miami Beach, the Marley family in Jamaica, and the Miami Dolphins.
