Born in Chile and raised in Miami, CP fell in love with graffiti art as a young teen. By age 16, he began to work with spray paint, straying from the traditional, bright designs, repetitive structure, and constraints as a form of word art. After studying fine art and graphic design in college, he continued to utilize spray paint as his preferred medium. CP’s artwork incorporates traditional and contemporary influences to create a style that is a blend of graphic art and street art, neoclassical and abstract. The subject matter is a mix of ancient sculpture, early photography, graffiti and digital design. The permanence of classical stone sculpture is juxtaposed with graphic stylings in the ephemeral, street art setting and transient medium. Once named the city’s most progressive street artist by Miami New Times, CP has completed over 100 murals locally, while international projects include murals in Japan, England, France, Mexico, Jamaica and Bermuda. Clients include Heineken, Google, Walmart, SLS Hotels, Coca-Cola, The Fillmore at Miami Beach, the Marley family in Jamaica, and the Miami Dolphins.

Nigel creates complex isometric murals and illustrations. The detail is all done by hand and with a lighthearted sense of humor that keeps you looking, and smiling. A wide range of businesses and organizations commission him to create bold, bright and busy line-art, often with a striking but simple color palette. He enjoys creating seek-and-find type illustrations that feature complex fantasy architecture and imaginary machines. It’s no surprise to find that his influences include Martin Handford (creator of Where’s Waldo?), MC Escher and the original SimCity computer games. At home in Berkeley, California, he lives with his wife, son, and cat.

ry Shilling, @paintinmybloodGregory Shilling is an artist and muralist from Sacramento. He’s also a passionate birdwatcher, a late-night dancer, and a loving partner. He got his BFA from UC Santa Cruz in 2019 and has been a full-time artist since. His work explores facial expression and body language and the ways a painting can be woven with identity and narrative. Sometimes his work is peaceful and pastoral, like a seat in a garden, other pieces depict loud, dynamic groups of people painted with energetic brushstrokes. Either way, a story is being told. Shilling’s figures are often accompanied by native flora and fauna as a reminder we are not on this planet alone. He makes oil paintings and sculpts, but his most rewarding projects are large-scale murals. If you see him on a wall, stop for a chat.
