Launched in the Spring of 2024, the Art House aims to amplify the cultural richness of Midvale Main by nurturing local talent and celebrating artists. By repurposing an existing City building for affordable art studios and community events, the Art House has become a unique community asset not readily provided by the market. Five studio aritsts currently reside in the the Art House and they welcome you to visit during open hours view their artwork, witness the creative process, and participate in various events and workshops.
If a studio space becomes available, a call for artists will be released every six months inviting community engaged artists to apply for a studio space. Artists are encouraged to apply by providing a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that includes examples of artwork, a resume or CV, and an Artist Statement including information about why you want studio space in the Art House and how you would engage the community.
