Midvale Harvest Days is a vibrant week-long celebration that captures the essence of community spirit and cultural richness. For more than 80 years, Harvest Days has brought together residents and visitors alike for a series of unforgettable events, from live music and parades to local food, games, and family fun.

Harvest Days Festival Week: July 27 through August 1, 2026

  • Neighborhood Block Parties: Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28, 2026
    Neighborhood Block Parties, always a favorite of Midvale Harvest Days, are a fun way to meet neighbors, build friendships, and develop a sense of belonging and security among residents.
  • Midvale Arts Council's Hall of Honors and Art Show: Wednesday, July 29, 2026
    The Hall of Honors is made up of native (or adopted) sons and daughters of Midvale who have made significant contributions to Midvale and/or those whose accomplishments and achievements have brought fame and recognition to Midvale as a community. The recipient of the award will be inducted into the Hall of Honors at a Ceremony and Reception during Harvest Days. Current Mayor, City Council, and members of the Arts Council are not eligible for consideration of this award until such a time as they are no longer on these Councils.The Art Show provides local artists with a platform to showcase and sell their creations, while also competing for awards. The event showcases a diverse range of artistic mediums including watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, 3D art, and photography. Admission to the exhibit is free for all, welcoming the public to immerse themselves in the creative talents on display. Stay tuned for more details.

  • Tyler Library Night: Thursday, July 30, 2026
    Stop by at the Tyler Library for a night of Harvest Days celebration with lawn games, board games, video games, create your own games, and more.
  • Midvale Arts Council Concert in the Park: Friday, July 31, 2026
    Free Summer Concert on Friday, August 1, at 7:00 p.m. on the Midvale City Park Stage. All seats are general grass seating so bring your blanket or camp chairs and we will see you in the Park (455 West 7500 South in Midvale).
  • Midvale Harvest Days Parade, Festival, Bingo, Concerts, and Fireworks: Saturday, August 1, 2026
  • The day kicks off at 7:00 a.m. with a fun run and pancake breakfast (fundraiser put on by the Midvale Community Council). This event is followed by the parade starting 9:00 a.m. At 3:00 p.m. Midvale City Park opens with Bingo and activities such as bounce houses, food trucks, carnival row, live music, Battle Zone, the Kids Entrepreneur Market and an assortment of vendors. This year we have new additions with Scales & Tails bringing their reptile display trailer and the Flippenout Trampoline Show performing! The day ends at 10:00 p.m. with a firework show put on by Vortex Fireworks.

  • This year, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill 5 key volunteer roles: Parade, Festival Set-up, Bingo, Carnival Row, and Floaters! 

    • As a Parade volunteer, you will assist in organizing the lineup of floats, vehicles, and participants before the parade starts. Help direct them to their assigned positions and ensure a smooth flow throughout the parade route.
    •  As a Festival Set-up Volunteer, you will assist the Harvest Days Committee in setting up booths, placing signs, and other tasks needed to get the festival going. 
    • As a Bingo volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to engage with festival attendees while overseeing the classic game of Bingo. 
    • Carnival Row volunteers will work directly with children, guiding them through various fun-filled free carnival-style games and helping them win exciting prizes. 
    • Floater volunteers will step in to support various activities and areas as needed. Tasks could vary from assisting on Carnival Row to filling coolers to restocking supplies, etc. This role has the opportunity to be involved all over the event.

    Perks of being a volunteer: 

    • Every volunteer that completes their shift gets a FREE Harvest Days t-shirt as they check out of volunteering.
    • Every volunteer will have access to the volunteer snack station.
    • For volunteers taking on 2 full shifts, you get 1 FREE food voucher!
    • For students, this is an opportunity to get service hours in a fun filled way!
    • In general, you get to play a more in-depth part of the festival and help make the overall event possible! 

    Steps

    • Fill out the Harvest Days Parade & Festival Volunteer Application.
    • 3-5 business days, post completion, you will receive an email with your volunteer status.  
      • Please note, if you are confirmed for a shift(s), we close that spot. We understand life happens, so please communicate with us ASAP if you are no longer available. 
    • Volunteer registration will remain open until filled and/or July 17th, 2026.

    Your participation as a volunteer will not only contribute to the success of the festival but also create lasting memories for our visitors. Please take a moment to fill out this brief application and let us know which role and shift you'd like to take on during the Harvest Days Festival. Your valuable time and dedication are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to working together to make this year's festival a remarkable experience for all.

  • THIS APPLICATION IS FOR BOOTH VENDORS ONLY. WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING FOOD TRUCK APPLICATIONS FOR THIS EVENT. 

    DEADLINE TO APPLY - FRIDAY, June 26th, 2026 AT 5:00 P.M. 

    Applications are subject to approval. Without an approved application, you will not be permitted to occupy a space or sell any items at the Festival. 

    • The Harvest Days Festival Committee retains the right to select vendors and booth locations for the Harvest Days Festival at their sole discretion. We are very limited on space so we will be looking for diverse vendors and will be limiting vendors based on having duplicate goods for sale. Booth applications will be approved based on products, services, available space, receipt of the application, and the applicant’s fit with the Harvest Days Festival.
    • The Harvest Days Festival Committee aims to prioritize Midvale owned or Midvale based vendors. 
    • The Harvest Days Festival Committee will review all applicants at the June meeting. You will receive a response on June 15th, 2026, with your vendor status. You must receive and be on the confirmed vendor list to set up at the festival. Any vendor not on the list will not be permitted to set up. 

    Please note, while we are NOT accepting applications for Food Vendors for this event, any prepared food vendors are okay to apply e.g. baked goods, pre-packaged, etc.). If you have any questions, please send an email to events@midvaleut.gov.

    Complete the online Neighborhood Block Party form to schedule your block party and arrange a visit from the Mayor, City Council members, the Unified Fire Authority, Unified Police Department, and local elected officials.

    We are hosting two dates, Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28, 2026. So please be sure to schedule your neighborhood block party on one of these dates.
